Full job description:

The Verifier handles checking and processing all inbound and outbound orders with accuracy. Verifiers will also perform an array of functions that may include picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in a distribution center.

Job Scope:

• Accurately find products.
• Audit inbound and outbound orders with accuracy.
• Communicate with pickers and unloaders to ensure that quality standards are adhered to.
• Insuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintain the error log and communicate to shipping lead for documentation.
• Workstations must be clean and organized.
• Check selected product based on order specifications.
• Provide directions to warehouse staff to make necessary corrections as needed.
• Operate safely all the necessary equipment in the work area.
• Prepare all required order documentation.
• Attach packing lists, tags/labels and/or documents to shipments.
• Report and record any discrepancies.
• Ability to detect errors & inaccuracies.

• Ensure their workstations are clean and organized.

• Verify and receive materials into inventory.
• Mark and inventory packages for storage or transit.
• Palletize and shrink-wrap.
• Cycle count inventory when needed.
• Maintaining cleanliness and order of warehouse.
• Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when seen.
• Observe all company safety rules and aid in enforcement.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Prior verifying experience desirable.
• Strong math skills and diligence.
• Data entry skills/Microsoft Office
• Sit-down forklift experience (1yr +)
• Standup/order picker experience is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Must be able to lift at least sixty pounds on their own.

Working conditions:

Moderate walking, standing, and/or climbing. Heavy lifting and carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching. Changes in hot/cold temperature and humidity. Exposure to dust and loud noise.

Compensation :

$18.50 + $0.50 after 60 days
