Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with SLP-CCC and School certifications to support a middle school caseload in a self-contained special education classroom. This contract position is set in the Zion, IL area and will last for the school year.
Key responsibilities include providing specialized speech and language services to middle school students with diverse communication needs. The role involves collaborating with educational staff and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and delivering therapy that fosters student progress. Maintaining accurate records and participating in professional development are also essential to this role.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid SLP - CCC certification
- Illinois School Speech-Language Pathology credentials
- Experience working with middle school-aged students
- Ability to work effectively within a special education setting
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
