Greenlee Screw Machine Operator
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Greenlee Screw Machine Operator to join our team in Machesney Park, IL. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our manufacturing process, ensuring that our screw machines operate efficiently and produce high-quality components. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Greenlee screw machines according to specifications.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes.
- Document production data and report any issues to management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining is a plus.
- Proven experience operating screw machines, preferably Greenlee.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and blueprints.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and measurements.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
