Test Technician

Test Technician (electronics) opening on 2nd shift! 2PM to 10:30PM Monday to Friday. Opportunity for overtime!

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot assembly or system level failures to the component level for repair.

• Collaborate with Test Engineers and customers to gain further knowledge of functionality.

• Provide break-fix support for test equipment.

• Utilize appropriate tools for creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes, or production.

• Demonstrate a basic, discipline-specific understanding of processes and product requirements.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using oscilloscopes, schematics, multimeters, and network analyzers.

• Experience in troubleshooting electronics.

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

• At least 2 years of experience working with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers.

• Experience in tracking bugs and defects and developing solutions.

• Any software programming experience is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
