Lawn Care Technician

Lawn Doctor of McHenry County has been providing Lawn Care services to McHenry County and parts of Lake County, for over 20 years. We provide top quality service, excellent customer service, and high quality products to our customers. We have grown to become the largest Lawn Doctor franchise in the Midwest, and are looking to add to our team!

Lawn Doctor of McHenry County has current positions available for Lawn Care Technician. We are currently looking for individuals who are self-motivated, passionate about their work, and reliable. Our Technicians are responsible for providing lawn care services such as fertilization, weed control, aeration and seedings, tree and shrub spray, and pesticide services to our residential and commercial customers. Experienced individuals may also be responsible for measuring, providing quotes and/or lawn analysis.

We encourage our team members personally and professionally, by providing opportunities to grow within our company. Individuals with current experience with lawn care and landscaping is a plus, however not a must, as we will train the right individual.

Responsibilities:

• Lawn care services; Fertilization, Weed Control, Aeration, Tree and Shrub spray, Pest Control spray
• Follow Lawn Doctor servicing procedures
• Maintain personal and professional appearance, including equipment
• Provide professional and courteous customer service
• Provide quotes and lawn analysis (for qualified individuals, Opportunity to receive additional Weekly Commission for Sales)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Must possess valid IL Drivers' License with good driving record
• Professional appearance
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds
• Able to work in various weather conditions
• Ability to read and recall regulations and procedures, and pass state issued pesticide exam
• Previous sales or industry experience is a plus, however not required
