Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a dynamic educational environment as a dedicated Occupational Therapist, supporting students from 9th grade through Transition programs across a cooperative setting. This full-time, contract-based opportunity places you in a collaborative and resource-rich environment located near Arlington Heights, IL, for the academic year running from August 12, 2026, to May 21, 2027. Staff hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 3:00 pm, with a 30-minute duty-free lunch each day.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist license (OT)
• Experience in school-based occupational therapy and with 9th grade through transition age students
• Prior work in home health or healthcare OT settings is valuable
• Demonstrated skill in supporting fine and gross motor development
• Flexibility to serve a cooperative-wide caseload and collaborate with various team members
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to students, focusing on both fine and gross motor skill development
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop intervention plans tailored to support educational achievement
• Collaborate with teachers and other specialists to integrate therapy goals within classroom activities and daily routines
• Maintain accurate records of services, progress, and communication with stakeholders
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and interdisciplinary team discussions
