Paraprofessional (CPA Firm)

We are currently looking to hire a part-time paraprofessional to join our audit team in our Rockton, IL office. The ideal applicant will be open to flexing up hours during peak tax season (28 - 32 hours) and reduce their hours to part time status outside of tax season (20-24 hours).

• Gain hands-on experience in audit.
• Learn and grow through on-the-job training and meaningful work engagements.
• Learn directly from experienced supervisors, managers, and Partners with specialized experience and technical knowledge across numerous industries and services.
• Work on setup and finalize procedures for audit team engagements.
• Work on portions of audit team engagements.
• Prepare engagement correspondence.
• Support the administrative team in a backup capacity.
• Become familiar with the firm’s policies and procedures.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, including special projects.

• Problem-solving skills.
• Computer literacy, specifically with Word and Excel.

• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma.
• Basic understanding of accounting and bookkeeping.
