Job Overview

The HR Operations Engineering team designs and scales compliant, efficient HR processes, programs, and systems that support a growing global workforce. The Analyst, HR Compliance & Operations executes and continuously improves the programs and controls that sit at the intersection of HR, Legal, Security, Procurement, and IT — with a focus on contingent worker governance, Public Sector requirements, and audit-ready operations. The team operates through a solutions-first model — Jira serves as the department's central system for service, project, change management, and roadmap work, with an active orientation toward automation and AI-enabled solutions as the standard for how HR work gets designed and delivered. This work is executed against a backdrop of significant organizational growth and IPO readiness, where audit defensibility, process maturity, and scalable governance are not aspirational — they are operational requirements.

Job Description and Requirements

WHAT YOU'LL DO

HR compliance & process ownership

  • Execute and maintain compliance-driven HR processes across key programs, including contingent worker governance, in partnership with Legal, Security, Procurement, and IT.
  • Support audit readiness through control validation, evidence collection, and documentation of HR workflows, including onboarding and offboarding, in partnership with Legal and Security.
  • Represent HR in internal and external audits, engaging cross-functional partners to ensure consistent and defensible process execution.
  • Own and improve process maps, SOPs, and operational controls to ensure data integrity, regulatory alignment, and consistent service delivery.
  • Support SOX/ITGC control readiness and audit defensibility across HR workflows, contributing to the operational rigor required as the organization scales toward IPO.
  • Identify process improvement and automation opportunities within defined program areas to reduce risk and increase operational efficiency.

Public Sector programs

  • Execute operational requirements for Public Sector programs, including management of Public Trust status — the background investigation standard tied to Relativity's FedRAMP certification — alongside parallel client-specific screening processes supporting federal and state agencies.
  • Maintain program documentation, tracking, and evidence to support ongoing audit readiness and scale readiness for organizational growth.
  • Support leadership and cross-functional stakeholders in advancing the centralized governance model for Public Sector programs, contributing to scalable, audit-ready operations as the program scope grows.

HR operations & solutions

  • Manage HR operational requests through the HR Service Desk in Jira, ensuring accurate intake, documentation, and compliant resolution across all request types; Jira serves as the HR department's central system for service requests, project work, change management, and roadmap tracking.
  • Contribute to automation and AI-driven initiatives (e.g., HR Makers program) to improve operational efficiency and employee experience, consistent with the team's solutions-first operating model.
  • Monitor process performance and surface trends, risks, and improvement opportunities to team leadership.
  • Provide supplemental coverage for the U.S. Immigration program as needed.
  • Partner cross-functionally to resolve operational issues and ensure consistent application of HR policy and process.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in HR operations, compliance, or a process-focused role
  • Demonstrated ability to document, own, and improve business processes (SOPs, workflows, process maps)
  • Hands-on experience with HR systems or service management tools (Workday, Jira, or equivalent)
  • Foundational knowledge of HR compliance, regulatory requirements, or audit-related processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Clear communicator with proven ability to collaborate across functions

PREFERRED

  • Experience supporting Public Sector or regulated compliance environments (e.g., Public Trust, FedRAMP-adjacent programs)
  • Exposure to immigration or global mobility programs
  • Experience with workflow automation, process optimization, or AI-enabled operational tools
  • Familiarity with SOX/ITGC control environments or audit evidence management
