- Complete assigned repairs from work orders efficiently and in line with dealership standards.
- Conduct road tests and use diagnostic tools and specialized equipment to evaluate vehicle systems and components.
- Troubleshoot, service, and repair various vehicle systems such as the engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, steering, brakes, and HVAC.
- Work closely with the Service Advisor to keep customers updated on necessary repairs and provide accurate time estimates for any additional work.
- Perform warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and specifications.
- 3+ years of Service Technician experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ASE or other OEM Certification required. (Eligible for transfer towards Ford Certification)
- Mid-level technician skills, with experience in diagnostics, electrical systems, and engine repair
- Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for precise work
- Solid mechanical aptitude and experience using computerized diagnostic tools
- Strong interpersonal skills with basic computer proficiency
- Upbeat, team-oriented mindset with a drive for continuous learning
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, ever-changing work setting
- Collaborative by nature, with the ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to adapt to evolving technologies, tools, and repair procedures
- Must have a valid driver's license and a history of safe driving
