Office Manager
Job Title: Dental Office Manager (Full-Time)
Location: North Shore of Chicago, IL
Job Description:
Established, patient-focused dental practice on the North Shore of Chicago is seeking a highly organized and experienced Dental Office Manager to join our team full-time.
We are looking for a strong leader who can oversee the day-to-day operations of the front office, support team members, and ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and confident in managing both administrative and financial aspects of a dental practice.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily front office operations and staff coordination
- Oversee scheduling, patient flow, and customer service
- Handle insurance verification, claims submission, and follow-ups
- Manage billing, accounts receivable, and collections
- Maintain accurate financial reporting and assist with basic accounting tasks
- Ensure compliance with office policies and procedures
- Support a positive, professional, and team-oriented environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Dental Office Manager (or similar leadership role in a dental practice)
- Proficiency with Dentrix (required)
- Strong understanding of dental insurance, claims, and billing processes
- Experience with accounting, reporting, and financial oversight
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
Schedule:
- Full-time, 4 days per week
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting at $32/hour , based on experience
