If yes, then bring your talent and skills to F.E. Moran! We have an opportunity in the Kansas City area for a Shop Assistant to join our team . As the Shop Assistant, you will assist in the day-to-day running of the tool room and shop, supplying the necessary equipment and materials.

You Are:

• EXPERIENCED: Able to read and understand shipping/receiving documents; prior experience and ability to operate a forklift
• KNOWLEDGEABLE: Able to read and use a tape measure to measure and cut materials to specific measurements
• A COMMUNICATOR: Effectively communicate both verbally and written to varied levels of audiences
• ORGANIZED: Able to prioritize and follow up to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• FLEXIBLE: Possess a valid driver’s license with a clear driving record; able to travel to job sites as required

What you’ll do:

• MANAGE: Assist in the shipping, receiving, handling and storing, and delivering of equipment, materials and supplies
• HANDLE: Lift inventory, bend and stoop to stock, carry and move materials, and load and unload trucks
• PUT SAFETY FIRST: Demonstrate understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practices, both in the shop and on job sites
• BUILD RELATIONSHIPS: Maintain good relationships and communicate with superintendents/foremen regarding their needs on job sites
