Altounian Construction, Inc. , a custom cabinetry manufacturer specializing in residential millwork, is looking for a talented and confident Senior Kitchen & Bath Designer to join our team. We are a rapidly growing millwork company who centers craftsmanship, client relationships, trust, and communication at the core of our business. We believe design is the first step in building trust and long-lasting partnerships with our clients and are seeking a Senior level Kitchen and Bath Designer who can confidently guide clients through the design process to create residential cabinets that are functional and beautiful. What Youll Do:

• Design functional high end custom kitchens, bathrooms, closets, libraries, and home offices.
• Assist clients and designers in selecting finishes, styles, hardware, and appliances.
• Create detailed drawings and renderings to bring projects to life. Engage with potential clients, confidently present design concepts, and encourage them through the decision-making process.
• Utilize industry-specific software like 2020 ((Cyncly)), CET Kitchen & Bath, or ProKitchen, to develop designs. Create detailed and complete plan sets and design specification packages for the production team.
• Collaborate with clients, designers, project managers, and the millwork team to ensure a seamless experience.
• Communicate with customers via meetings at the showroom, phone, email and at job sites to help the client through the design and purchasing process.
• Maintain accurate documentation of customer activity; document the sales process and maintain customer records in the software and systems as requested.

What Were Looking For:

• Experience in kitchen and bath design for residential cabinetry for at least 5 years
• Strong ability to communicate with and motivate potential clients
• Proficiency in rendering spaces and presenting design concepts. Knowledge of 2020, AutoCAD, ProKitchen, or similar software
• A confident, engaging, and client-focused approach
• Ability to organize and focus on simultaneous multiple projects
• Ability to manage a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact
• Problem solving abilities and attention to detail
• Great organizational skills
• Ability to see project through conception to sale
