Mammography Technologist III, Full-Time- Flexible Shifts

If primary job assignment includes special procedures: assisting the radiologist in the performance of needle localizations and biopsies and provides the patient care essential to radiological procedures. Applies principles of radiation protection. Assists in general radiographic and office duties as needed. If primary job assignment is on the mammography van is able to drive the mobile unit to different sites throughout Mercy East Communities. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Shifts: 4x10hr or 5x8 hr

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2 years of relevant experience.
• Required Education: Successful completion of an accredited Radiological Technologyprogram.
• Certifications: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. Must be certified by the ARRT. R.T(M) + R.T. (BS) or RDMS (BR) or obtains certification in mammography. (Breast Ultrasound Certification)
• Other: Skills and Knowledge with Breast Biopsy and Needle Localization procedures
