Position Overview
Prime Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Neuroendovascular Surgeon to join our distinguished neuroscience team at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Joliet, Illinois. This is a rare opportunity to work in a Primary Stroke Center with advanced neurointerventional capabilities, delivering exceptional care to patients in a collaborative and progressive environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced neuroendovascular procedures, including treatment of aneurysms, AVMs, acute ischemic strokes, and other cerebrovascular conditions
• Collaborate with stroke neurology and critical care teams to provide comprehensive patient care
• Participate in program development, quality initiatives, and outreach activities
• Contribute to the ongoing growth of our neuroendovascular services line

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurosurgery or Neurology with fellowship training in Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology
• Eligible for Illinois medical license
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to excellence in patient care, teaching, and program growth

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $600,000-$650,000. on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
