MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Emergency Medicine

. This full-time, on-site position offers a unique opportunity to provide critical care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the highest level of patient care and management.
In this role, you will be pivotal in delivering emergency medical services, assessing and treating patients in urgent situations. Your contributions will be vital in enhancing the overall quality of care within our practice. You will collaborate with a team of experienced medical professionals while implementing protocols that improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in continuous education and training programs
- Manage critical situations effectively, applying clinical judgment
- Ensure compliance with medical standards and protocols
- Document patient interactions accurately and promptly
- Engage in community outreach and health education initiatives
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine
- 3-5 years of experience in an emergency medicine setting
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to make quick decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Able to work collaboratively in a high-pressure environment
- Current state medical license and certifications
Flexible Schedule: 8 to 10-hour shifts, 20-40 hours per week
Shift Types: Days, nights, evenings, and weekends
No call requirement
Will occasionally rotate to a nearby hospital
Daily Volume: ~100 visits
Annual Volume: 30-35K visits
Full APP and subspecialty support
Must be board-certified
