Overview

A top-tier law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate to join its Labor & Employment practice. The role focuses on litigating a broad range of employment law matters and offers significant responsibility in sophisticated and high-stakes disputes. Traditional labor experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in a variety of labor and employment litigation matters
• Handle all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Draft briefs, motions, and other litigation filings
• Conduct legal research and support case strategy
• Collaborate with partners and clients on complex employment-related disputes

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of labor and employment litigation experience
• Experience litigating a broad range of employment law matters
• Traditional labor law experience preferred but not required
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent academic credentials
• Self-motivated with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Admission to practice in the applicable jurisdiction

Compensation & Benefits

The expected salary range for this position in Chicago and Washington, D.C. is $260,000 - $350,000 , excluding bonuses. Compensation for other locations will be based on the applicable market.
