Lending Operations Clerk

Job Summary:

The Lending Operations Clerk will perform administrative and clerical duties to process loans from initial underwriting to final entry in the loan database.

Salary Range: $35,000-$45,000 Pending Experience

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· None

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Prepares or collects, maintains, organizes, files, records, and manages all documentation related to mortgage applications, real estate collateral, and insurance policies.

· Verifies accuracy and completeness of data and documents for incoming direct loans; assessments may include verifying accuracy of financials, completion of credit authorizations, and collection of required documentation.

· Manages the underwriting of loan products including lines of credit, agriculture loans, mortgages, and secured and unsecured loans.

· Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations in underwriting retail lending products.

· Prepares and submits forms or documentation needed to make necessary corrections to incomplete or inaccurate data.

· Maintains complete loan portfolio records including vouchers, services, payoffs, corrections, and year-end interest reporting.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

· Computer proficiency to use and interact with consumer loan database.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare documentation.

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· At least one year of loan experience required; 3+ years of loan processing and underwriting experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at a time.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
