Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Overview:
Employment Type : Contract (13 Weeks)
Location: Carbondale, IL
Shift: (36 Guaranteed Hours/Week)
Roles & Responsibilities
Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely
Operate and maintain nuclear imaging equipment
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
Follow SIH protocols, radiation safety standards, and regulatory guidelines
Accurately document procedures and results
Required Skills
Clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine Imaging
Strong knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment
Understanding of radiation safety and compliance standards
Ability to work independently in a hospital setting
Lab technicians without nuclear medicine experience will not qualify
