Radiology Technologist Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2700 - $2770
• Assignment Type: Travel (locum tenens)
• Location: Glenview, IL (with floating to Glenbrook, Evanston, Highland Park, and Skokie as needed)
• Start Date: September 8, 2025
• End Date: December 8, 2025
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 4x10-hour days (7:00am – 5:30pm)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call Requirements: 2-3 days per week; on-call every third weekend (Friday evening to Monday morning)
• Holiday Requirement: 1 holiday during assignment
• Patient Population: Adults
• Charting System: Epic

Cath Lab Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab Radiology Technologist experience
• Valid ARRT (R) certification
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Active Illinois Radiologic Technologist license
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Willingness to float between Glenbrook, Skokie, Highland Park, and Evanston hospital locations
• Ability to take and respond to call as scheduled
• Must pass EKG test on first attempt (84% or higher)
• Previous charge experience preferred
• First-time travelers welcome

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced imaging and radiologic procedures in the Cath Lab, including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
• Assist with cardiovascular procedures such as ASD closures, cardiac stent placement, electrophysiology studies, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, pacemaker insertions, TAVI/TAVR, and more
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data and cardiac dysrhythmias
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic electronic health record system
• Float to other hospital locations as needed and participate in on-call rotation
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
