Office Assistant (Seasonal)

Job Summary:

The Office Assistant performs duties assigned regarding daily operations of all departments (pool/spa service and holiday lighting). In this position, one is responsible for efficiently performing general office support tasks and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Initiating and correctly completing all items listed on Task List associated with this position. Tasks include but are not limited to: phone reception, appointment confirmation calls, maintaining client records, preparing mailings, etc.

The Support Assistant performs their duties with respect to and in line with the Mission, Vision and Purpose of Diamond Pool & Spa, Inc.

Education and/or Experience : High school diploma or general education degree (GED), successful completion of at least 1 year of college courses, as well as some relevant experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Communication Skills : Ability to create written correspondence in a professional manner for the purpose of communicating with clients or co-workers. Ability to listen and respond effectively when speaking with clients and co-workers both one-on-one as well as within groups.

Computer Skills: Ability to work proficiently in a variety of software applications to include but not limited to data entry, spreadsheet manipulation, Microsoft e-mail and on-line navigation. MS Office Suite experience preferred.

Self-Management: Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and perform their work in a busy environment with regular interruptions and still be successful in completing work within allotted time frames with minimal supervision. Ability to apply logistical and critical thinking skills. Ability to set and achieve personal and professional goals.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
