Part-Time Bartender / Barista
Pay: $19.00/hour + tips
Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 1:00 PM–7:00 PM

We're looking for someone who is confident behind both the bar and the espresso machine and enjoys creating memorable guest experiences. The ideal candidate is personable, dependable, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service. You'll play an important role in creating a welcoming happy hour destination by crafting quality beverages, preparing bar bites, supporting building events and catering, helping manage inventory, and collaborating with the General Manager to introduce exciting seasonal specials and promotions.

Responsibilities:
- Primarily serve as the bartender during afternoon and happy hour service
- Prepare beer, wine, cocktails, and other specialty beverages while delivering exceptional guest service
- Prepare handcrafted espresso beverages, coffee, tea, and other specialty drinks during the afternoon overlap or whenever you are the only café team member on duty
- Prepare and serve bar bites, including light food preparation, heating, and plating to company standards
- Transition the café from daytime coffee service into an inviting happy hour destination
- Collaborate with the General Manager and café team to develop seasonal cocktails, coffee specials, and promotional offerings
- Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, ordering needs, and maintaining organized storage areas
- Support building activations, tenant events, and catered functions as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café and bar environment throughout each shift
- Stock and replenish coffee, bar, food, and retail inventory
- Accurately process guest orders and payments
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards
- Work collaboratively with the team to provide a seamless guest experience throughout the day
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending experience is required
- Previous barista experience is required
- Prep cook or café kitchen experience is a plus
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Food Handler Certification is required (must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment if not already certified)
- BASSET Certification is required (must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment if not already certified)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working around hot equipment, espresso machines, and bar equipment
