Associate Attorney – Corporate and Commercial Real Estate

Rhoades Levy Law Group P. C. (“RLLaw”), a Northbrook, Illinois based law firm, is seeking an associate attorney experienced with corporate and commercial real estate matters to join its rapidly growing and highly collaborative law firm.

The ideal candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of independently handling complex commercial real estate and corporate transactions while collaborating effectively with colleagues, clients, and opposing counsel.

Responsibilities:

· Advise and represent clients with purchasing, selling, leasing (as both landlord and tenant), and financing commercial real estate, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating relevant documents

· Advise and represent clients with mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and other strategic transactions, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating relevant documents

· Draft, review, and negotiate various corporate, transactional, and other business-related documents

· Oversee and manage all aspects of transactions, from preliminary negotiation through closing

· Provide day-to-day legal counsel to businesses across various industries on matters involving entity formation and structure, income tax elections, corporate governance, employment practices, risk management, and general business strategy

· Supervise and manage paralegals and administrative staff, support senior attorneys, and collaborate with other professionals to ensure timely delivery of high-quality client service

Qualifications:

· J.D. from an ABA-approved law school

· Admitted to practice law in Illinois and in good standing with the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission

· 3-8 years of relevant experience outlined above

· Experience with corporate and commercial real estate matters

· Experience with trust and estates a plus

· Excellent analytical and drafting skills with high attention to detail

· Superior oral and written communication skills

· Excellent time management abilities and capacity to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a deadline-drive environment

· Self-starter who works well independently and within a collaborative environment

Total compensation range for this position at the time of the posting is $90,000-$150,000 annually based upon a full-time work schedule. Compensation will be subject to a number of factors, including, without limitation, qualifications, experience, skill set, and performance.
