About the Role
The Center Clinical Manager is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring exceptional patient care and smooth clinical operations. You’ll oversee daily activities, lead and develop clinical teams, maintain compliance with healthcare standards, and collaborate with senior leadership to drive business growth.
This role is perfect for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)with proven leadership experience in a medical clinic, hospital, or similar healthcare environment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage clinical teams, including Care Promoters, Pharmacy/Medication Technicians, and X-ray Technicians.
- Ensure a VIP patient experience by monitoring quality of care, compliance, and clinical standards.
- Collaborate with Center Directors and Physicians on business strategies to meet and exceed organizational goals.
- Oversee hiring, training, onboarding, and performance management of clinical staff.
- Monitor key performance metrics such as patient wait times, staff engagement, and care team productivity.
- Manage clinic staffing schedules, supply inventory, and medical equipment maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and ChenMed quality standards .
- Provide data-driven insights to improve processes and performance.
- Act as a liaison between patients, families, and care staff to ensure a compassionate, patient-centered experience.
- Support clinical initiatives and provide direct care when needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Education & Licensure:
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s in Business or Healthcare Administration preferred.
- Active LPN license OR Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required; other clinical licensure/certifications above the minimum requirement may also be considered.
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross) required within 90 days.
- IV Therapy certification (for LPNs) where required by state.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of progressive healthcare experience in a clinic, hospital, or regulated environment.
- 2+ years of management experience with direct reports (healthcare preferred).
- EMR experience and geriatric care experience a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of clinical operations, compliance standards, and patient care principles.
- Bilingual (Spanish/Creole) a plus.
