The CID – Center of Integration and Development is seeking a dedicated and community-oriented Receptionist to join our team. CID is operated by NAIMA (North American Institute for Mexican Advancement, NFP) in partnership with The Village of Melrose Park, and also hosts programs from Necahual Foundation and FEDEJAL.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for our community members, the Receptionist plays a key role in ensuring visitors feel welcomed, supported, and guided to the right services. This position is ideal for someone who loves helping others.
Key Responsibilities
● Welcome and assist community members who visit the CID
● Provide accurate information and guidance about our services, including:
○ Dual citizenship support
○ Power of Attorney letters for property
○ Short-term guardianship
○ Document translations
○ General community resource referrals
● Assist with scheduling, class coordination, and community events
● Support administrative and front desk operations
● Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed based on programming.
Schedule
While the regular schedule is Monday–Friday, 9 am–5 pm, flexibility is required to cover:
● Evening classes
● Weekend events
Requirements
● Fluent in Spanish (95% of our community members are Spanish speakers)
● Strong communication and customer service skills
● Ability to multitask and work in a dynamic environment
● Previous receptionist or administrative experience preferred but not required
