I opened my agency in 2005 after building a strong foundation with State Farm starting back in 1990. Before becoming an agent, I worked in management and handled fire claims, which gave me a deep understanding of what customers need most when life doesn’t go as planned. Today, our team includes three full-time and one part-time team member, and we run our office with a true family-first mindset. I’m married, have three daughters, and five grandkids, and I love spending time traveling with my family, especially anywhere in Florida. I’m also a big Cubs and Bears fan and enjoy catching sporting events whenever I can. Giving back matters to us. We sponsor local baseball teams, support the Rockford Rescue Mission, and make it a priority to give back to police and fire departments around the holidays. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
- Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
- Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
