Medical Practice Manager

The Practice Manager serves as a central coordination point between the clinical operations and the corporate support teams ensuring efficient workflows, revenue optimization, and high quality patient care. The Practice Manager works closely with the executive leadership to implement business initiatives and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, organize, implement and direct the day-to-day functions of the clinics and its programs and activities to insure compliance, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
- Manages, supervises, and coordinates all physician office operations while exemplifying the culture and values of the practice.
- Oversee and distribute work activities and staff schedules.
- Manage human resources functions, including staff recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Monitor operational KPIs including patient volume, wait times, no shows, protocols, and staff productivity.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives.
- Address issues raised by physicians, employees, and patients and seek out appropriate leaders or partners to problem solve and process improve.
- Ensure the practice is compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
- Oversee facility management, equipment maintenance, and inventory of supplies.
- Manage patient scheduling, billing processes, and electronic health record (EHR) system functionality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent is highly preferred (appropriate experience may be substituted for educational requirements).
- 3-7+ years of healthcare practice management experience.
- Strong knowledge of revenue cycle management, including billing, coding, and collections.
- Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare regulatory and compliance issues (e.g., HIPAA, OSHA).
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) and practice management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills
