OP - Therapist - Drop In Center
Job Summary
The Outpatient (OP) Therapist provides individual, family, and group therapy services to transition-aged youth in a hybrid outpatient and school-based setting. This role maintains a clinical caseload, completes required assessments and documentation, collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, and delivers high-quality, ethical behavioral health services to consumers ages 16–25.
Educational & Licensure RequirementsMaster’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Nursing .
Associate-level or Independent licensure required (or in the process of obtaining licensure).
Compliance with all supervision requirements of the respective licensure board.
If a Registered Nurse (RN) , must hold Psychiatric Mental Health accreditation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Special Experience / Qualifications
Clinical knowledge and experience working with transition-aged youth .
Comfort and competency providing services to individuals ages 16–25 .
Experience in a behavioral health setting preferred.
Maintain an active outpatient caseload and provide therapeutic services.
Complete accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation, including:
Diagnostic Screening Assessment
Health Assessment (initial and annual)
Bio-Psychosocial Assessment (initial and annual)
Treatment Plan
Treatment/Service Plan Reviews
Continuing Care documentation
Termination Summaries
Participate in scheduled staffings, case conferences, and clinical consultations .
Collaborate with internal teams and school-based partners to ensure coordinated care.
Adhere to all agency policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
Perform all other duties as outlined in the current job description.
Demonstrated competency using computers and electronic health record systems .
Strong organizational, time-management, and documentation skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
