Gateway Regional Medical Center is seeking a Bariatric Program Coordinator to lead our bariatric surgery program from end to end. You'll be the connective thread between patients, surgeons, and the broader care team - guiding patients through a life-changing journey while ensuring the program meets the highest clinical, regulatory, and accreditation standards.

This is a role for an experienced clinician who wants program-level impact: shaping process, building patient relationships over time, and seeing the tangible results of coordinated, high-quality care.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of the bariatric surgery program
• Serve as the primary liaison between patients, providers, and interdisciplinary teams across the full continuum of bariatric care
• Ensure compliance with accreditation, regulatory, and clinical standards
• Guide patients through each stage of their bariatric care journey, providing support and clear communication along the way

What You Bring

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program, or an accredited program in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
• Current Illinois RN license or Illinois Dietitian/Nutritionist license
• Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross); ACLS preferred
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience
• Experience in bariatric, surgical, or case management nursing preferred
