Creativity + Compassion = The Perfect Activity Aide
As a full-time Activity Aide at Asbury Gardens, you will support and engage residents in a variety of meaningful activities designed to enhance their quality of life. You will work closely with the activities team to facilitate programs that promote socialization, cognitive stimulation, and physical wellness.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and implementing daily activities and events for residents.
- Provide support to residents during activities to ensure participation and safety.
- Document residents’ responses and progress during activities.
- Collaborate with staff to modify activities as needed to meet residents’ individual needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized activity area.
- Must be available to work the following hours:
- Tuesday, Friday & Every Other Weekend from 7am-7pm
- Thursday - alternating times 8am-12pm & 1pm-5pm
- High School Diploma / GED
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to engage with elderly residents with patience and compassion.
- Previous experience in activity programming or caregiving preferred but not required.
- Competitive compensation - $17.00 per hour.
