Financial Aid Advisor

What You’ll Do:
The Financial Aid Advisor serves as the primary resource for students as they navigate the financial aid process. From assisting with FAFSA applications to building financial estimates and payment plans, you’ll provide personalized advising to help students make informed decisions about their education. You will also ensure compliance with federal, state, and accrediting body regulations while working collaboratively with admissions and student services to create a seamless enrollment and financial aid experience.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Guide Students – Assist students with financial aid applications, scholarships, and loan processes; present at new student orientations to explain available resources.
- Create Financial Solutions – Develop aid estimates and third-party payment plans tailored to student needs.
- Ensure Timely Processing – Follow up with students to collect required documentation and meet deadlines.
- Collaborate Across Departments – Partner with admissions and other teams to streamline enrollment and financial aid processes.
- Maintain Compliance – Interpret and apply regulations to keep operations smooth, compliant, and audit-ready.
- Deliver Outstanding Service – Provide clear, supportive communication through meetings, phone calls, and emails.
- Support Campus Community – Participate in school events such as graduations and open houses to foster engagement.

Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in financial aid or finance.
