Range: starting at $16.25/hr ( non-exempt )

Position Summary:

The Park Operations team members are the hard-working heroes who keep our park looking and operating at its best. We’re seeking skilled, reliable Housekeeper(s) to join the Park Operations team for the 2026 summer season July - September, to help with the daily housekeeping needs, the housekeeper is responsible for the cleanliness of the various Ravinia campus buildings. The Housekeeper reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor and is responsible for performing janitorial duties as assigned. Typical hours are 7:00AM - 3:30PM, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in daily cleaning and custodial services.

• Assist the Housekeeping Supervisor in keeping accurate supply inventory.

• Operate basic janitorial equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers.

Knowledge and Skills Required

• Ability to work in a team and independently

• Ability to push/pull/ carry up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to operate basic janitorial equipment

• Ability to stand/bend/reach/walk while working for extended periods of time

• Availability that includes weekends

• Ability to work on a team in a fast-paced, entertainment venue

• Previous Housekeeping experience is a plus

Education and Experience:

• 3-5 years of housekeeping, janitorial services, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience is a big plus

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Work Environment

• The Ravinia season runs from early July through mid-September. Applicants who are available to work the entire season will receive priority in hiring.

• This position is outdoors and in all weather conditions, with prolonged periods of standing, walking, pushing/pulling, and lifting/carrying.

• Housekeeping works Typical hours are 7:00 AM—3:30 PM, 48 hours a week, including weekends.

• This position is on-site at Ravinia Highland Park, IL, must be able to reliably commute to Ravinia daily.
