Business Analyst —Risk PMO

You’ll partner with legal, compliance and technology leaders to improve how the organization manages client intake, conflicts, obligations and broader risk operations. The ideal Business Analyst – Risk PMO candidate brings strong communication skills, process improvement expertise and prior experience within a law firm or professional services environment.

What will I do?

• Gather, analyze and document complex business and legal operational requirements

• Translate legal workflows into detailed functional specifications

• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and process discovery sessions

• Identify gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities for operational improvement

• Support cloud migration and risk systems modernization initiatives

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable process solutions

• Assist in standardizing workflows and reducing manual operational processes

• Communicate project updates, risks and recommendations to leadership teams

What’s needed?

• 3-5+ years of Business Analyst experience within a law firm or professional services environment

• Strong experience with requirements gathering, process mapping and gap analysis

• Understanding of legal operations, attorney workflows and compliance processes

• Ability to manage competing stakeholder priorities with professionalism and diplomacy

• Experience supporting enterprise technology or systems transformation projects

• Familiarity with Intapp or similar legal technology platforms preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Law or related field preferred

• Ability to work onsite in Chicago 2-3 days per week
