Summary: The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for all Burry Managed freight and will need to research industry trends and carriers on a daily basis in an effort to keep costs down during negotiations, all the while ensuring we maintain historically high on-time rates. 24/7 availability is critical.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all Burry managed loads.
• Negotiate with carriers & broker partners to ensure we find cost savings.
• Deliver a 99% On-Time delivery score each quarter.
• Enter freight invoices into payables and submit month-end accruals.
• Work with cross-functional teams to manage and dispute exceptions.
• Research industry trends and source new potential carrier partners.
• Do whatever possible to execute on-time and in-full delivery to our customers.

Qualifications:

• Three years of freight experience required. A Bachelor's degree or at least five+ years of industry experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required.
• Demonstrated proficiency within the Microsoft Office suite.
• Personable with strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Reliable and hard working.
• Ability to be available after hours for delivery exceptions (alternating days with other team members).

Projected salary: Approx $60k + benefits. Will vary depending on quality of candidate.
