Automotive Payroll Administrator

Our payroll administrator is responsible for all activities related to weekly payroll processing. The payroll administrator is also responsible for benefits administration for employees including new enrollments, terminations, assisting staff with self-service registration and other duties as needed.

Job Duties:

• Print and review weekly timesheets for accuracy and completeness.
• Process, enter, and verify weekly payroll checks.
• Submit payroll tax payments, 401K files, wage garnishments, and various payroll deductions.
• Maintain and monitor PTO calculations.
• Monthly SUTA filing
• Prepare 1095-C Forms
• Assist with year end form preparation and form processing.
• Maintain employee records and process changes according to established procedures.
• Work closely with department managers to ensure time records are accurately maintained.
• Administer various employee benefit programs - including benefits enrollment, termination, COBRA administration, and 401k.
• Reconcile the monthly premium statements for group insurance policies and resolve any discrepancies.
• Work closely with benefits brokers to file annual reports, process open enrollment, resolve inquiries, etc.
• Assist employees with payroll and benefits questions.
• Resolve discrepancies effectively and efficiently.
• Monitor payroll related schedules.

Requirements:

• 3+ years payroll processing experience required
• 1+ year Automotive dealership payroll experience preferred
• Reynolds & Reynolds experience PREFERRED
• 1+ year accounting experience
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must have strong communication skills verbally and in writing
• Background in accounting and/or Human Resources preferred
