Rose Paving is looking for a Project Communications Specialist
The Project Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that support the successful delivery of key projects. This role ensures stakeholders are informed, engaged, and aligned by managing internal and external messaging, project updates, documentation, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate excels in both strategic communication planning and hands-on content creation.
You will be responsible for...
- Create communications for varied projects, aligned with company goals and timelines.
- Provide cross-departmental support, adapt to evolving business needs and contribute to team-wide success.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and communicate corrective actions proactively.
- Apply for construction permits with municipalities.
- Schedule inspections and take appropriate follow up action.
- Requesting utility locate services
- Tracking jobs from point of sale through job closeout, while communicating job progress with customers.
Specifically:
- All the communication for all of the projects, sending cards/thank you, communicating schedules, reschedule dates, calling client or companies.
- Clerical work, needs to do drop and pick ups permits, utility locates, XRM, all phone calls, project coordinator is on site vs project communication is in office.
- Move and close jobs out for Client Communication Team. Once sales approves they have to send the Main point of contact for the jobs. Manage fleet vehicles.
- Starting mid April 9-5. Midwest. Manage territories. communicate nationally and regionally.
What skills & experience you'll bring to us
- 2+ years of experience in communications, project coordination, or project support roles.
- Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with job-tracking platforms (e.g., SharePoint, CRM Software, ServiceChannel).
- Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly and professionally to varied audiences.
