Salary: $17 - $20 Accounting AssistantLocation: Paris, IL
Pay: $17-$20/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday (Tuesday & Thursday are longer shifts; hours subject to change) Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a well-established local company in Paris, IL to find a reliable Accounting Assistant . This position is ideal for someone with basic accounting knowledge who is dependable and comfortable supporting daily office operations. Job Responsibilities:
- Perform base-level accounting tasks, including debits and credits
- Handle basic Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Maintain and update spreadsheets
- Prepare occasional memos and general office documentation
- Provide backup phone coverage for the receptionist as needed
- Basic accounting knowledge required
- Strong attendance and reliability are essential
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Professional appearance; business casual dress code (khakis and polo minimum)
- Experience with title and license information for the State of Illinois
- Familiarity with Auto Soft software
