PT OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE I

Description

Primary Summary:

Coordinates the day to day operation of processes in support of the various deposit products and ancillary functions of deposit operations, loan service and call center. Provides operational support to branch personnel as needed. Serves as an operational resource for the enterprise. Implements, communicates and complies with deposit policies and procedures.

Essential Functions/Position Responsibilities:

· Provides necessary support to branch and other enterprise personnel.

· Provides recommendations, documentation and implementation of new and revised procedures for efficient operations.

· Review of system exception and quality control reports for follow-up and escalates unresolved issues as needed.

· Process and perform scanning and documentation imaging system functions.

· Performs support clerical functions to the department in addition to system maintenance.

· Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

Position Requirements:

Experience

Six months to two years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.

Education/Certifications/Licenses

A high school degree or GED is required.

Interpersonal Skills

A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required to be an effective subject matter expert in the position. In-depth dialogues, conversations and explanations with members, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature is a normal part of the day-to-day experience. Communications can involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance.

Other Skills

Demonstrated knowledge of industry rules and regulations related to Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, Customer Identification Policy, Truth in Savings, Truth in Lending, Regulation CC, Plastic Cards, and Funds Availability, etc. General capabilities in the use of personal computer based business application software.
