Centralized Billing Clerk
- Develop, implement, and monitor warranty claim processes for all locations.
- Reviews warranty claims prior to locations submitting to warranty if needed.
- Develop, implement, and monitor expiring machine warranties so that customers can be contacted for extended warranty or inspection.
- Monitors equipment records for extended and special warranties for expiration.
- Works with service managers to ensure there are no expired Product Improvement Programs.
- Understands warranty regulations and the ability to provide consultation and training to service managers, clerks, techs, and Parts Department on the proper way to proceed with a warranty situation.
- Ensures compliance with non-returnable service parts policies.
- Communicates to departmental management about warranty status on a regular basis.
- Manages Pathways Warranty section to ensure timeliness of claim submission and payment.
- Assists in internal billing of service repair invoices for service departments/sales departments.
- Manages discounting of inspection programs as necessary per guidelines.
- Assists service departments on the closing of WIP when necessary, End of Month, or End of Year.
- Assists in managing Service Admin Portal for Expert Alert timeliness and accuracy.
- Daily Tech time sheet adjustment and changes.
- Basic knowledge of accounting practices.
- Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and Internet functions.
- Knowledge of office procedures.
- A general understanding of mechanical/technical terms is preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Must be able to sit, stand and walk along with climbing stairs, reaching, pushing, pulling, leaning, twisting, and driving.
- Must be able to meet all safety requirements for applicable safety policies.
- Most duties performed in climate-controlled office environment. May be exposed to hot or cold weather conditions when traveling or in the Service Area.
