Accounting Data Entry Clerk - Waukegan, IL

LaSalle Network is partnering with a stable and growing print media organization in Waukegan to hire a data-entry–focused Accounting Assistant for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys high-volume transactional work, values structure, and is looking for a clear path to permanent employment.

This role is budgeted to pay up to $21/hr and will required to be in Waukegan, IL 5x a week. The goal of this assignment is to convert after 4-5 months to a permanent role.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• High-volume data entry of invoices and financial transactions

• Assisting with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing

• Matching, batching, and coding invoices

• Reconciling discrepancies and researching basic variances

• Maintaining accurate and organized financial records

• Supporting the accounting team with administrative tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• 1+ year of accounting, bookkeeping, or strong data entry experience

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Comfortable working onsite in Waukegan 5 days per week

• Proficiency in Excel and basic accounting systems

• Reliable, consistent work ethic
