About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Conflux Systems Inc to find a qualified Rehab RN in Herrin, Illinois, 62948!
Position Summary This i for night shift 7 pm to 7 am for Inpatient Rehab. We do all the same things a medical floor does except Heparin Drips. We have a high neuro population so being stroke certified definitely would be a plus but not a requirement . Weekends would be every third weekend . Friday and Saturday nights. Sundays would be considered part of the regular work week but I could accommodate some flexibility with that night if needed.Description
- Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
- Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates an individual plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team.
- Provides explanations and instructions to patient/responsible person.
- Demonstrate ability to use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition.
- Contribute to a healthy workplace environment by managing conflict using professional communication skills.
- Meets Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care.
- Participate in continuing education.
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records.
