Automotive Sales Manager
- Inventory Management: Oversee all aspects of the new vehicle inventory, including acquisition, preperations, pricing, merchandising, and display.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales plans and processes to drive growth, increase profitability, and meet sales goals.
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, train, and motivate, the sales team to ensure high performance and compliance with dealership policies.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure a positive and personalized car-buying experience for every customer. Promptly and professionally handle any customer issues or concerns.
- Financial Performance: Monitor sales data, track key performance metrics, and manage the department's budget to maximize profitability.
- Market Awareness: Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and local market conditions to adjust strategies as needed.
- Dealer Relations: Work with the manufacturer and dealers to source and acquire the best inventory.
- Proven track record of success as an Automotive Sales Manager or in a similar sales management role.
- Minimum of three years of experience in automotive sales and acquisitions. Ford brand strongly recommended.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Expert knowledge of vehicle sales, dealership operations, and automotive financing.
- Strong proficiency with CRM software (e.g., VIN Solutions) and inventory management tools (e.g., VAuto, Kelly Blue Book, etc.).
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- A robust compensation package of commissions & bonuses, with unlimited earning potential based upon performance goals.
- Annual earnings expectations of between $75,000 - $145,000.
