Help shape the future of local students! The Des Plaines Valley Region is looking for an Education & Career Readiness Coach to help youth explore career pathways, build real-world skills, and connect schools with community partners.

What You’ll Do

• Guide high school students through career readiness skills like professionalism, job searching, and interview preparation.
• Build partnerships with schools and community organizations to develop internships, job shadowing, and other work-based learning opportunities.
• Support the Education Pathway Grant by managing program compliance, reporting, and communication between schools.
• Collect and analyze data to track student progress and program outcomes.
• Provide training and support to educators and stakeholders on pathway and grant requirements.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Public Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in education, workforce development, or grant/program management.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Passion for helping students achieve their goals.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between partner schools.
