Join Hoffman Smiles as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) and be a vital part of our dedicated team in Hoffman Estates, IL. We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled professional to help us provide exceptional dental care and create a welcoming environment for our patients. Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe environment.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment and post-treatment care.
- Manage patient records and schedule appointments efficiently.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist in ordering when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with patients to address their concerns and questions.
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
- Open to learn from lead assitant and get cross trained.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dental assisting role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team Player.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in dental software and radiography.
- Positive attitude and a passion for patient care.
