Schedule:  Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay- $26.00-32.00 per hour

Are you a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in keeping buildings safe, functional, and looking their best? We’re looking for a dependable Building Maintenance Technician  to join our team and help maintain our facilities through proactive care and timely repairs.

Position Summary

The Building Maintenance Technician plays a key role in supporting day-to-day facility operations. This position is responsible for general maintenance, preventative upkeep, and responding to repair needs across assigned buildings to ensure a safe, secure, and well-maintained environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor building conditions to ensure safety, security, and operational efficiency
• Perform general maintenance and repairs including patching, painting, carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical troubleshooting
• Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
• Coordinate and work with vendors when specialized services are required
• Move office furniture, equipment, and materials as requested
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Basic knowledge of tools, machinery, and maintenance techniques
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2–4 years  of building or facilities maintenance experience preferred
