Requirements:

Responsibilities of this position include:

* Troubleshoots and repairs all avionics equipment and electrical systems on aircraft

* Communicates with department manager or crew chief on any problems or repairs

* Ensure all work performed is inspected by an authorized repair station inspector

* Prepares various documents for record keeping purposes as required by company policies, FAA approved repair station and quality control manuals, all FAA regulations, OEM aircraft manufacturer manuals, etc.

* Learns, understands and follows the company work order and parts requisition process as written.

* Maintains a clean, neat, and efficient work area

* Repairs and calibrates shop equipment as assigned

* Willingness to work on a team with both experienced technicians and mentor junior technicians with a calm demeanor

* Ability to communicate well in straightforward situations

* Organizational skills and attention to detail

* Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment

* Ability to analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

* Ability to write reports, business correspondence, or procedural manuals

* Excellent mechanical aptitude and a desire to work

#Other requirements include:

* Experience working on and troubleshooting aircraft avionics and airframe systems

* Thorough knowledge and understanding of FARs 43, 91, 135, 145.

* Experience working with and repairing the following aircraft systems:

* - Autopilots, Flight Management Systems, Navigation and Communication Systems, EFIS, Aircraft Electrical Systems, Lighting, Pitot and Static Systems

* Any bench repair capabilities preferred

* A&P License / FCC License a plus
