Cashier / Admissions Attendant - Seasonal

We are hiring for Rice Pool & Water Park and Northside Family Aquatic Center.

GENERAL PURPOSE

This position is responsible for the collection and handling of money in the aquatic facility and to carry out all jobs within the admissions areas of the facility.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Minimum of eighteen (18) years of age.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Check passes and collect money from patrons entering pool.
2. Maintain a secure and organized admissions area.
3. Handle all incoming calls.
4. Enforce rules and regulations appropriate to the aquatic facility.
5. Maintain all daily reports and record data.
6. Be responsible for the distribution of lost and found articles.
7. Act as cashier only in concessions.
8. Assist with cleaning and performing light maintenance within the Aquatics Facility.
9. Wear personal protective equipment for job function when needed.
10. Maintain effective two-way communication while dealing with concerns in the facility with the Aquatic Manager and immediate supervisor.
11. Provide a high quality of customer service in a professional manner to the internal customer that will facilitate team building and exceptional customer service to the external customer.
12. Follow the Wheaton Park District policies, procedures, and guidelines.
13. Proactively support the V.A.L.U.E.S. (integrity, fun, commitment, adaptability and growth, kindness, and service) on a daily basis.
14. Maintain good safety awareness and follow all safety guidelines and procedures.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, ETC

None.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position must be able to rarely move items such as a 2-gallon bucket weighing up to 10 lbs. This position is required to do a considerable amount of moving, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, bending, twisting, standing, and reaching.

ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

This position must be able to be exposed to all extreme summer weather conditions and varying degrees of temperature and light. This position will also be exposed to cleaning chemicals.

SALARY

Looking to hire at $15.00 per hour

SALARY RANGE

Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum

$15.00 - $18.75 - $22.50
