Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a School Psychologist to serve students in a K-12 school setting in Aurora, IL. The position is a contract role available for the 2025-2026 school year with two possible assignment durations: August 20, 2025, through May 29, 2026, or August 20, 2025, through October 31, 2025, covering a maternity leave. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) problem-solving initiatives.
- Managing Special Education referrals and conducting comprehensive evaluations.
- Providing psychological services primarily in early childhood through 2nd-grade buildings.
- Completing initial psychological evaluations throughout the district.
- Supporting problem-solving teams during the 2025-26 school year.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure relevant to the state.
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings, particularly with early childhood populations.
- Familiarity with MTSS processes and Special Education evaluation procedures.
- Strong assessment, communication, and collaborative problem-solving skills.
