Family Solutions is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Professional to join our growing team. If you’re passionate about providing person-centered, trauma-informed care and want to work in a supportive, collaborative environment, we’d love to meet you.
Internal applicants must meet the following criteria at the time of application:
Be employed with Family Solutions of Illinois for a minimum of 12 months
Meet all minimum education, licensure, and credentialing requirements for the Mental Health Professional (MHP) role as outlined below
Be in good standing , with no active disciplinary actions, and meet current performance expectations for a minimum of three (3) consecutive months

What You’ll Do
Provide Impactful Care: Conduct culturally responsive, trauma-informed clinical assessments and evaluations that honor each client’s strengths, needs, and goals.
Partner in Healing: Collaborate with clients, families, treatment teams, and community partners to develop meaningful, individualized treatment plans.
Support Through All Seasons: Deliver therapy, crisis intervention, case management, and other clinical services that meet clients where they are.
Respond with Care: Address client needs promptly and thoughtfully, ensuring timely support during critical moments.
Document with Purpose: Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation to support quality care and regulatory standards.
Practice with Integrity: Uphold ethical standards, confidentiality, and professional conduct in alignment with licensure and Family Solutions’ values.
Grow with Us: Participate in training, quality improvement initiatives, and team collaboration that support professional growth and excellent outcomes.
Deliver Consistent Services: Provide consistent, client-centered services by meeting an average productivity expectation of 28 billable hours per week , supported by strong documentation and teamwork.

What We’re Looking For
Minimum Education - Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience pathways:
Option 1 (Preferred): Bachelor’s or Master's degree in counseling and guidance, rehabilitation counseling, social work, education, vocational counseling, psychology, pastoral counseling, family therapy, or a related human service field
Option 2: Bachelor’s degree in any other field plus 2 years of documented supervised clinical experience
Option 3: High school diploma or GED plus at least 5 years of documented clinical experience in mental health or human services.
Experience: Demonstrated experience in clinical care with a focus on Community-Based/Outpatient behavioral health experience preferred
Certifications: Ability to complete First Aid, CPR, de-escalation, and required professional development training
Other Requirements:
Ability to pass background checks, compliance screenings, and drug screening
NPI and/or Medicaid Number
