Senior Vice President, Performance Media
At Publicis Collective, we know tomorrow’s challenges won’t be solved by today’s solutions. It’s why we support our teams with the resources and tools they need to continue redefining the future of marketing. It’s also why clients rely on us to lead the way in connecting media, data, technology, and teams by what matters most – business outcomes.
Publicis Collective’s consultative practitioners are catalysts for business growth and innovation, we’re more than media experts. We are an incubator for high-performing talent and a launchpad for ideas that push the boundaries of what’s possible. As part of the global Publicis Media network, we’re backed by the power, scale, and benefits of Publicis Groupe, one of the largest and most celebrated marketing and communications platforms on the planet. How are we different? There are three core values at the center of our approach that help us stay ahead – curious, open, and driven. Curious - A deep curiosity compels us to go beyond the brief to deliver exceptional outcomes. Open - We value diverse perspectives and new ways of working. Driven - We are ambitious, rigorous, self-disciplined, and resilient in our pursuit of excellence. If you're a collaborative and enterprising practitioner with a passion for media and a desire to make a real impact, we want to hear from you. Let's shape the future together. Overview The SVP, Performance Media is a senior growth leader responsible for driving scalable, accountable growth across a complex, multi-market, always-on business. This role blends commercial rigor, channel fluency, and operational leadership with a sharp focus on subscription-like customer models, lifetime value, and continuous optimization. This leader is not just setting vision for our NA team, they are actively shaping decisions: guiding channel mix, pressure-testing investment choices, and helping teams move faster and smarter in a high-stakes, highly agile environment. You will operate at the intersection of growth strategy, paid media execution, and advanced measurement, partnering closely with client executives and internal leadership to turn data into confident, defensible decisions. You are expected to elevate how performance media works, not by doing everything yourself, but by knowing what good looks like, where risk exists, and when to push harder. This role is ideal for a leader who has worked across subscription, fintech, telecom, or other high-frequency transaction businesses, and understands how to balance short-term performance with long-term customer value. Responsibilities Growth & Strategy Leadership- Own and evolve the NA performance growth strategy across acquisition, engagement, and retention grounded in customer value, not just cost efficiency
- Shape portfolio-level investment frameworks that balance national scale with market-specific execution and accountability
- Guide teams on how and when to use channels differently across the funnel
- Provide senior-level judgment on channel selection, role of channel, and optimization strategy across paid search, social, programmatic, video, affiliates, OOH, and emerging platforms
- Act as a strategic sounding board for teams on bidding strategies, audience approaches, creative inputs, and test-and-learn priorities
- Ensure performance optimization decisions align to business outcomes (e.g., registrations, active users, lifetime value), not just platform critical metrics
- Partner with analytics and data teams to ensure measurement approaches support smarter investment decisions, especially in environments with signal loss or imperfect attribution
- Support analytic team outputs and guide interpretation of results from RBA models, incrementality testing, and experimentation frameworks
- Serve as a senior strategic partner to client leadership, bringing a proactive POV on growth, risks, and opportunities
- Lead high-stakes planning discussions, QBRs, and executive reviews with clarity, confidence, and commercial acumen
- Find opportunities to expand scope and impact by solving real business problems, not selling media tactics
- Lead and inspire cross-functional teams spanning planning, investment, analytics, and technology without slowing velocity
- Set standards for how decisions get made, how insights are shared, and how teams stay aligned in a fast-moving environment
- Coach team talent on critical thinking, client presence, and business storytelling
- 12–15+ years in performance media, growth marketing, or integrated media leadership roles
- Demonstrated experience working on subscription-based, fintech, telecom, or high-frequency transaction businesses
- Proven ability to lead performance media across multiple markets and complex organizational structures
- Hands-on experience evaluating and guiding strategy across paid search, paid social, programmatic, video, and upper-funnel channels
- Experience operating in agile, fast-paced client environments with frequent decision cycles and evolving priorities
- Strategic & Analytical Strength
- Deep understanding of how to connect media investment to business outcomes and customer value
- Comfortable working with imperfect data and multiple measurement approaches, while still driving decisive action
- Leadership & Communication
- Executive-level presence with the ability to challenge, influence, and align senior collaborators
- Exceptional ability to translate performance data into clear, actionable guidance for both teams and clients
- Collaborative leader who sets a higher standard without creating friction or bureaucracy
