If you love people and want to help them live their best lives that are informed and inspired through Jewish community, this job is for you!
About Temple Sholom
For over 150 years, Temple Sholom has lived its mission to embrace, inspire, and matter. As a leading Reform congregation, we offer uplifting worship, transformative learning, and meaningful cultural experiences that strengthen Jewish life. We are also a leading center for Social Justice in Chicago, advocating for the most vulnerable in our midst and hosting a weekly hot meal program for the neediest members of our community.
Our Community
Temple Sholom is a vibrant, inclusive community that welcomes people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences. Rooted in Torah and Jewish values, we foster meaningful connections, spiritual growth, and a commitment to tikkun olam (repairing the world). As a hub for Jewish learning and action, we bring together thought leaders, scholars, and those dedicated to making a difference.

- Create meaningful relationships and memories – Connect with our families (with kids in Elementary School, Middle School, Camp, and High School) one-on-one that facilitate community and joy utilizing our sacred home at Temple Sholom and the fun and resources around Chicagoland.
- Support families in community – Work with young families to help them find their passion within the larger community. Help families, kids, and parents know and befriend each other.
- Guide and collaborate with youth leaders and lay leaders – Supervise and cultivate emerging and current leaders in our community through individual relationships, program planning, and committees.

- Work with a team that considers new possibilities and strategizes to make them a success.
